Description
In the left half behind the Pantheon, right four houses. In front of that, also right, a fountain with obelisk-like column. Vor dem Brunnen ein Pferdewagen mit drei Pferden.
Provenance
1874 creation of the painting by the artist. Annual Exhibition Künstlerhaus Wien. 1937 purchase of the painting by the gallery Almas-Dietrich German-owned and resale to the Reich Chancellery. 1962 handover of the painting in the departmental assets of the Foreign Office. 2010 using the painting to equipment purposes. 2011 Publication of the painting data in "works of oil paintings by" at "imkinski Kunstauktionen Vienna". There is no evidence of a Nazi persecution-induced loss of wealth, but can not be completely ruled out such.
