Description
Shape:
A hemispherical shape over a profiled ring stand, strongly constricted above; dlender body, strongly conical below the mouth.
Décor:
Yellow ground on the flute-shaped part, white hemispherical segment painted with rich gold décor of blossoms and tendrils; broad gold lines; front and reverse with a high-oval, quatrefoil cartouche, front shows a rocky landscape with a pavilion, next to a long staircase between rocks leads up to a pagoda-like architecture, on the forecourt of this staircase small Chinese figures with a dromedary and a horse, both carrying palanquins, four more figures on the stairs, in the sky numerous small birds and insects.

Provenance
Dresden Castle, tower room; the collection of porcelain, together with the carpets, furnishings from the porcelain gallery and scientific material (10 boxes), was relocated to 16 different locations in a total of 1211 boxes. The relocation sites, some of which were castles and manor houses, served as refugee accommodation after 1945. As part of the collection was later offered for sale by private individuals or found in private estates, it is assumed that some of the losses were due to looting and destruction. According to the loss report for the porcelain collection from 1991, a partial transport to the Soviet Union cannot be ruled out.

Rückseite: Dichte Blütenzweige mit Vögeln am Fuß, Goldmalerei auf weißem Grund, Meißner Porzellan. Links: Unterglasurkobalt AR, in Purpurmalerei: Johann Gregorius Höroldt inven. Meißen, den 22. Janu Anno 1727, III 362, stark beschädigtes Stück, ausgebesserter oberer Rand. Höhe: 40 cm, Durchmesser: 20,25 cm. Rechts: Unterglasurkobalt AR III 361, Höhe 39, 5 cm, Durchmesser: 21 cm.
