Description
Ein Schaf ruht im Profil nach rechts vor einem mit Winden umrankten Busch, von dessen Blättern ein Ziegenbock frisst. Rechts eine stehende Säule, links Säulen-Fragmente. Gegenstück zu Inv.-Nr. 2858 (Inventarbeschreibung).
Provenance
1799 from the Zweibrücken Gallery; the last location for this work was the Animal Hygiene Institute in Veterinärstraße in Munich; probably destroyed there in an air raid in January 1945
