Kat. Galerie Speyer 1927, S. 33. - Ein Fuchs legt nach rechts gewandt zähnefletschend seinen Vorderlauf auf einen toten Hasen. Links die Fuchshöhle, rechts Ausblick auf eine Baumlandschaft (Inventarbeschreibung).
Provenance
1799 from the Zweibrücken Gallery; painting on permanent loan to the Regional Council of the Palatinate in Speyer, from there presumably moved to the Seyssel barracks in Germersheim in 1942, since then no longer traceable, looting cannot be ruled out
