Description
The group depicts a female rider astride a horse, the animal's head turned to the right; her arms are outstretched to hold the reins. The rider's coat is enamelled on the biscuit with floral medallions on a blue ground, her breeches coloured pink, her hair and head-dress brown. The animal is decorated with hair and pie-bald markings in dark aubergine on a white ground, the mane an tail coloured pink, the hoofs brown; the trappings enamelled with green bosses on a dark brown ground. On rectangular base with pierced panel to the front enamelled with trellis ornament in green and yellow.
