Description
The group depicts a warrior seated on a horse with arms outstretched holding the reins, with a sword hanging at his side. The rider's coat enamelled with floral medallions on a pink ground, his breeches coloured green, the hat unglazed showing a slight red decoration, and the horse-trappings green within aubergine borders ; the horse with head turned slightly to the right, is decorated with hair markings on a light aubergine ground, the mane and tail enamelled pink, the harness with green bosses on a black ground. On rectangular base with pierced panel to the front, enamelled with trellis ornament in green and yellow.
