Two-part glass cabinet with glass panes
Provenance
The glass cabinet is not listed in the Dresden Palace inventory no. 1 of 31.01.1920; During the anniversary exhibition “August der Starke und seine Zeit” from 13.04. - 15.10. 1933, a cabinet was displayed in the emperor's living room or study (room 544); 4 mirror cabinets are mentioned on the salvage register from 1942; in August 1943, the most valuable furniture and clocks were transported to a relocation site (Rammenau or Schieritz). A loss in connection with the events of the Second World War cannot be ruled out.
