Description
The painting shows a village view. An unpaved village road leads from the centre of the picture to the back right. Two people are depicted on the road, chickens to the left and three people harvesting trees. Behind the tree is a house with a smoking chimney. At the right edge of the picture an arched bridge can be seen, in the background a mountain range under a cloudy sky.
The work is signed and dated "Ed. Lichtenfels / 1909".
