Provenance
The exhibits were taken to the Clemda inn in Clemdastrasse on 8 February 1946 at the instigation of the Soviet city commander of Eisenach and packed into crates there. On 24 February 1947, the crates were loaded into Reichsbahn wagons by the Soviet Military Administration in Weimar on the instructions of a guard general. The destination was Merseburg.
