Description
A bull and a she-goat, who is suckling her kid, are shown in front of a dilapidated dairy farm, in murky light under cloudy skies; a peasant with his dog stands on the left.
Provenance
In the Kunstkammer before 1826/1854 (cf. 1854 inventory). Still present in the library in 1943, transferred to Reinhardsbrunn (2) on 11.8.1943 (catalog 1943, p. 300); whereabouts unknown since then.
