Description
A rococo-style frame in the historicizing style of the 19th century.
Provenance
Listed in the Gardemeuble inventory of paintings (1882-1910); Inventory No. 1 of 31.01.1920 as part of the settlement agreement between the Free State of Saxony and the former royal house of 1924; On December 27, 1943, Prof. Fichtner's report to the Reich Governor on the salvage was listed under point 6. On May 24, 1944, the government official Gruve noted that the castle administrator Bibrach had begun to remove paintings and overdoors that had not yet been removed. The overdoors were moved to the Zottewitz Castle relocation site near Priestewitz. According to the files, lost at the relocation site.
