Description
The birds are represented standing on pierced rockwork, their heads turned towards the spectator. They are brilliantly enamelled in famille rose colours, their necks, backs, wing and tail plumage with small panels of pink, green, blue and yellow with feather markings in black, their breasts coloured rouge-de-fer, the beaks gilt and their legs coloured yellow. The pierced rockwork bases are splashed green, blue and pink.
