High oval plate with wood (oak) cut-out work: weaver's shuttle set in a triangle within a leaf frame in a palm wreath, inside a baroque mirror monogram, crown at the top, year ‘1786’ below.
Provenance
Formerly the Guben City Museum. Parts of the collection were apparently evacuated to Kossar (today: Kosierz) in 1942/43. The part of the collection that remained in Guben is said to have been looted between 1945 and 1948 and has been considered lost ever since.
