Dr. Heymann’s collection was confiscated as 'Degenerate Art' under the authority of the Dienststelle Reichsleiter Rosenberg on 2 February 1942 from the warehouse of Speditur Roth, Reichenbergerstrasse 54, Berlin, where the works were stored.
